Date: Friday 7 Nov. 2025

Speakers Gregory Blazek USA, Joel Frontera USA , Kemly Philip USA

The Spinal Cord Injury population includes a wide array of injury types and disability classifications. Through this diversity, there is a plethora of possible nociceptive, neuropathic, and even visceral sources of pain of which both inpatient and outpatient clinicians need to be aware.

Managing pain is critical for identifying deficits, overcoming disabilities, strengthening functional movements, and optimizing quality of life. We seek to identify and provide up-to-date best practices for medical trainees or currently practicing providers on approaches to the various pain etiologies and the next steps for management within the Spinal Cord Injury population.
