Working under a pandemic situation within specialized cancer rehabilitation 2020-2023 had its challenges but provided also at window of opportunity when it comes to rethink how to make cancer rehabilitation more available to our patients. Digi-CaRe is a comprehensive project platform aimed at developing digital-clinical competence and enhancing person-centered care within cancer rehabilitation. With the establishment of Cancer Rehabilitation Skåne Online, an interdisciplinary team utilizing digital tools, the project has significantly increased access to advanced cancer rehabilitation in Skåne, Sweden. Continuous development projects are in progress to further this mission. Digital-clinical competence is an important skill in future healthcare, combining traditional clinical practice with digital tools and environments.
