Africa takes the lead with its first-ever dedicated session

A Strategic Highlight in Global Rehabilitation

At ISPRM 2025, Africa takes the lead with its first-ever dedicated session. This milestone will highlight the continent’s leadership, innovation, and commitment to advancing Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM).

For the first time in ISPRM history, Africa will not only be represented—it will be leading the conversation. Hosted in Marrakesh, where cultures and continents intersect, the Africa Session marks a strategic shift in global rehabilitation dynamics.

As a result, Africa is no longer seen solely as a recipient of solutions. Instead, it is emerging as a provider of scalable, resilient models that can inform global practice.

Aligned with the theme “Global Solutions in Rehabilitation: (Re)visiting Africa Before 2030,” the session provides a space to explore practical answers to shared challenges. More importantly, it invites the world to learn from African perspectives and innovations.

Furthermore, the session will feature speakers from Morocco, Tunisia, Ghana, Namibia, Türkiye, Pakistan, the UK, and the US. Together, they will explore topics ranging from clinical system development to emergency care and peer engagement.

Africa takes the lead with its first-ever dedicated session, offering a forward-looking vision that connects regional experience with global impact.
