A review of the exciting frontier of stem cell therapy for acute neurological injuries including brain injury after cardiac arrest, global anoxic injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and peripheral nerve injury. Attendees will learn the basic science involved in stem cell procurement, generation, and differentiation. Attendees will discover the potential applications of stem cells in various acute neurological diseases such as stroke, SCI, post-cardiac arrest, and peripheral nerve injury.
