Recent developments in innovative technologies, particularly robotics, have begun to transform the field of rehabilitation. Robotic devices and other cutting-edge technologies have been integrated into rehabilitation protocols to enhance the intensity, precision, and repetition of therapeutic interventions—key factors in promoting brain plasticity and improving functional outcomes. By delivering high intensity and high-quality treatment, these technologies have the potential to optimize treatments in acute , sub-acute and chronic phases .
A crucial aspect of this scientific workshop will be the exploration of how robotics can be used to optimize treatment dosage for each interventions included in Individual Recovery Plans.
