Aging, Function, and Rehabilitation
The aging of the world’s population is one of the most impactful changes of the 21st century. Health systems and societies must adapt to this important demographic trend.
One of the characteristics of the aging process is the loss of functional capacity, including but not limited to mobility.
How to understand, measure, and report it is an important challenge. Rehabilitation is the best strategy to understand this challenge and address it.
