Dr. Sinforian KAMBOU is a Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Physician with an interest in Strengthening Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology in Health systems in Africa.
As ISPRM-WHO Committee Representative for WHO AFRO-Region, he attended WHO Regional committees in Africa where he delivered statements to highlight the critical role of rehabilitation in health policies.
Dr. Kambou is co-winner of the distinguished Mary Ann Keenan Prize awarded by the Canadian Advances in Neuro-Orthopedics for Spasticity Consortium (Canosc).
Currently, he serves as Director of the Center for Promotion of Rehabilitation Medicine and Disability Research and is dedicated to advancing rehabilitation in Cameroon and other countries in Africa through advocacy, research and capacity building.
Regarding his clinical activities, he is the Medical Director of the Institute of Applied Institute of Neurosciences and Functional Rehabilitation in Cameroon.
